The all-natural foodie tour: Berries and other useful plants
First Nations people once lived sustainably off the land. Luckily, some of their knowledge still remains. On this hike we show you how nature is not only tasty, but useful as medicine, material, and even for cleaning your dishes!
Time: 11am – 2pm
Cost, including scenic chairlift ride:
Adults (18+): $51.95
Senior (65+)/Youth (13-17): $43.95
Child (6-12): $25.95
Family (2 adults + 3 youth/kids): $120.95
*Reservations Required. Book by phone or by email or in person at the FAR Adventure Centres: at Lizard Creek Lodge at Fernie Alpine Resort, or at Fernie RV Resort in town. Hike-only rates (no lift ticket included) also available).
All hikes are guided by experienced, professional staff.
Hikes are moderate in difficulty, 3 hours in length.

Elk Chair: Daily from 10.30am-4.30pm & until 7pm on Thursdays
Timber Chair: Sat, Sun & Stat Holidays from 10.30am-4.30pm daily (holidays include Canada Day weekend, July 2, and BC Day, Aug 6, & Labour Day, Sep 3)
Timber Chair also open for bonus weekends, Sep 8/9, 15/16, 22/23 & 29/30.
