Come on down for a ripping good time and raise funds for Freedom Equine Association's therapeutic horse back riding & equine assisted learning programs. Removing barriers for all those who can benefit from the magic of working with horses. Skiers, snowboarders, horses, cow boys and gals, jumps, speed and one heck of a good time.
Up to 50 teams of two (one horse rider and one skier or snowboarder) will race the clock through a course with jumps, gates, berms and flying obstacles to claim fastest team in Fernie!
Last year was the inaugural year for this amazing new event in Fernie! Over 3,000 spectactors watched 41 competitors. This year the event expects to welcome up to 5,000 and will expand its parking, food and beverage offerings and more to ensure everyone has a great time!

The event will be held at the Lions Demo Derby Grounds, 1492 Railway Ave.
DIRECTIONS: Take 13th St from Hwy #3 and drive south over the railway tracks, then turn left after TJ's Autobody and take Railway Ave past the City Works Yards. Free parking.
