Shelley Lynch grew up in Fernie, surrounded by music from a young age. As one of 6 kids raised at a Drive-In theatre, her parents always encouraging her to ‘Dream Big’. She started playing guitar with her older sisters at the young age of 10 and wrote her first song at 12.
After years of hard work and persistence, her songs made it to the studio. Her first three releases, Walk through Life, Dream Big, and Powerful Woman were followed by Dreams and Gasoline in the fall of 2020, which reached #66 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart; two singles: Make it to Memphis landed at No. 74 in July 2021, alongside Toby Keith, and Country Girls are Crazy became a top 50 song! In 2023, Live Everyday made it to the top 100 on the Music Row Charts and top 10 with the CICC.
Born in Outlook, Saskatchewan, and raised in Fernie, Kenny Hess was the middle child of a large working class family. He started singing at the kitchen table aged 4, began touring at 15 and has been a part of the music industry since the 80’s when he started a life of making music for a living.
A prolific songwriter, Kenny was noticed by Nashville’ legendary songwriter Harlan Howard and began writing for him, which led to a recording deal with Curb records Nashville. Several of Kenny's songs reached the top 40, and he has 14 critically acclaimed CDs to his credit. He has also been nominated for Canadian Country Music Awards, and has won several BC country music awards including Male vocalist of the year and Album of the year. Kenny is an 8-time Traditional Country Artist of the Year and in was honoured with the Entertainer Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. In 2015 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
