Thunderstock was started in 2017 by a group of musical friends and neighbours, originating as an open jam during the summer long weekends in the parking lot of Thunder Ridge Chalets. Since it’s establishment, Thunderstock has maintained a spirit centered around enjoying quality music and camaraderie, while also raising funds for a deserving local charity. Thunderstock has grown in size and popularity since 2017, so now the Spirit of Thunderstock aims to preserve the traditions of the Thunderstock event while allowing more people to take in the event.
Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to collaborate with the Thunderstock organizers to deliver an exceptional afternoon of music at the resort Plaza complete with a food & beverage garden and an opportunity to raise funds for Angel Flight East Kootenay.
Both bands - The Reluctants and Little Bit Good Band have graciously donated their time to perform for free at the event. Please bring a cash donation for Angel Flight East Kootenay or donate online through the QR codes on site.
