One of Fernie's most beloved biking and running events, the Tears & Gears Mountain Duathlon is returning for 2025!
The event will be the same inclusive, community focused event with competitors participating as teams or solo - Run / Bike. And the popular kids’ race will be back as well.

ABOUT TEARS & GEARS:
Tears and Gears ran for ten years, from 2009 to 2019. It was inspired by two friends love of trail running and mountain biking and creating a community focused and inclusive event that would encourage people of all levels and ages to try these sports and enjoy our amazing trail network.
The 2025 event will be held in support of the Abi Moore Scholarship Fund.
