Snowfall & Alpine Adventures
Winter in Fernie transforms the valley into a playground of powder and possibility. From December through March, crisp mornings give way to exhilarating days on the slopes, snow-covered trails, and alpine vistas that stretch for miles. By mid-March through mid-April, the season shifts into prime spring skiing, with longer days, slushy turns, and sun-filled après delights. As daylight fades, the welcoming glow of the town offers a well-earned pause before another day of mountain adventures begins.
