The Fernie Ghostriders battle for the Eddie Mountain Division title in a best-of-7 series in the final round of the playoffs:

The Fernie Ghostriders finished the regular season in 2nd place in the Eddie Mountain Division with 53 points, behind Kimberley Dynamiters, and won their first round of playoffs against the Golden Rockets, 4 games to 2.

About the Ghostriders:
The Fernie Ghostriders are a Junior A Hockey Team, playing in the Eddie Mountain Division of the Kootenay International Junior Ice Hockey League. Head Coach is Chad Scharff, Assistant Coach is Dante Raposo, Trainer is Ashley Springle.
The Ghostrider name comes from the iconic shadow that forms at sunset on Mount Hosmer in Fernie, that is clearest at the start of the hockey season (and during the summer months).
