OK Dope! is proud to present Dave Merheje, Noah Brodeur and Nash Park.
Dave Merheje is considered to be one of the most original standup voices on the comedy scene today. His multiple award-winning act has gained a loyal following across North America with his “no fear” approach on stage and a comedy style best described as aggressive in-your-face funny. Dave had his first comedy special air in Australia on ABC2. His second special “Good Friend Bad Grammar“ won the 2019 Juno Award for Comedy Album of the year. His third special “Beautifully Manic,” can be seen on Netflix as part of Comedians of the World, and his fourth special titled “I Love You Habibi” recently premiered on Crave TV and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award.
Dave is a regular at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and has made multiple appearances at JFL42 in Toronto, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia, and tours clubs and theatres regularly. Dave was a regular contributor on MTV Live, played Mr. Bechara on CBC’s Mr. D, and currently can be seen in the indy film Sometimes I Think About Dying opposite Daisy Ridley, and co-stars in the critically acclaimed comedy series Ramy on Hulu and CraveTV.
Nash Park is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and born in a small town in northern BC. Now based out of Western Canada Nash regularly performs his high-energy, hard-hitting stand-up, and crowdwork to audiences all across BC. Nash has taken part in the Just For Laughs Vancouver Comedy Festival as well as opened for the likes of Jon Dore, Dino Archie, and up and coming comedian Malik Elessel.
Nash is also the founder of OK, DOPE, a comedy collective that produces live shows, podcasts, and other comedic content. Since its founding Nash has produced hundreds of comedy shows through BC and has quickly become one of Western Canada’s biggest bookers. Nash has traveled all throughout BC with the OK, DOPE Stand-up Comedy Tour and is the host of OK, DOPE’s flagship production is The Late Night Show with Nash Park, a live show that combines stand-up, improv, and sketch all within the structure of a classic late night talk show. When not on stage you can hear him as one half of the OK, DOPE Podcast.
