This new festive event is open to all local and visitors and is organized by Coal Creek Heritage Society in partnership with Transrockies and Tourism Fernie.
The Ride & Roast Bike Festival will run from 10:00am – 9:00pm at the Montane Barn, with the music, beer gardens and food continuing till 9:00pm. The festival runs along side the Fernie Singletrack 3 Mountain Bike Race to amplify the amazing biking atmosphere and fun! The Race will be in Stage 2 of its 3 stages and finishing at The Barn on Saturday for everyone to celebrate the 500 racers!
Event festivities include a Chillville Social Space near the finish line to cheer the racers coming in while enjoying music, food trucks, beer garden, community booths, bike demos, lawn games and more. Everyone is welcome and we encourage people to bike to The Barn (secure bike parking available) via the Montane Trailhead or off Coal Creek Road.
