Fun, friendly gravity-fed DH MTB racing every week at Fernie Alpine Resort!
A new twist for 2024! The weekly Wednesday Mountain Bike events this year will be dedicated to downhill development for people of all ages to enjoy. For those of you looking to focus more on developing your own riding without the pressure of a weekly league this is the night for you!
Timing will be offered on a selection of beginner / intermediate routes, and each route will be included twice over the summer so you can track your own improvement. Each week, there will be draw prizes so that everyone can win, and each race you come to will get you an entry into the big end-of-summer prize draw.
Races run weekly from June 26th to August 29th, with the exception of July 3rd & 4th, followed by a beverage at Legends Mountain Eatery.

REGISTRATION: Registrations must be completed before 3:30pm on race day. Spots are limited - don't wait to register! Registrations will open at 10am on the thursday prior to the race. To register, find the appropriate race date on the Fernie Alpine Resort EVENTS CALENDAR.
ENTRY FEE: $8, Lift ticket or season pass required - not included in entry fee. Post-race beverage included.

Minimum age: 8. If racers are turning 8 during the summer, they may start racing after their birthday.
ROUTE: Posted on the Fernie Alpine Resort event listing and facebook page on the day of each event.
RACE START: 4:15pm with staggered start times.
WAIVERS: Resort waiver(s) are required prior to racing. Racers must complete up to 2 waivers to participate in the race.
