"Dan Tait and Kasey Graff share the same vision that is built on carefully crafted melodies and lyrics, strong vocals with a purposeful dynamic thrust, and a firm instrumental foundation. Tiger Moon is a West Canadian Folk band - a healthy blend of Bluegrass and Country, with feet still planted deep in the mud of the Folk world. Led by the couple Dan Tait and Kasey Graff, their sound is unique and timeless, stylistically comparable to Johnny Cash & June Carter. Syrupy-sweet 4-part harmonies fortify the pair as well as a full rhythm & bass backline, providing a full-bodied sound for their at-once intimate and exciting performances.
The band is coming off a career-high year in 2017, and will be hoping to continue this far into 2018. They performed over 50 shows in the summer of 2017 around BC & Alberta, released their first full-length album entitled Cariboo & Whiskey, and locked in performance slots at Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival, Ponderosa Festival, and Arts Wells. They bring a professional aspect to the touring-folk-band world, and are working to ensure they become threaded into the musical fabric of Western Canada.
