About La Cafamore:
La Cafamore has been performing in the Kootenays since 2008, bringing classical music to the area, including new music. We also strive to collaborate with local artists and Canadian composers.
Originally birthed as a string quartet made up of members of Symphony of the Kootenays, La Cafamore became a fluid ensemble of varying instrumentations.
Group manager Carolyn Cameron was raised in Saskatoon where she studied violin and piano. She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, The Regina Symphony Orchestra and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Carolyn lives in Rossland.
