New Year's Eve family event at Fernie Alpine Resort.

Come out and celebrate the New Year with the entire family!

4 pm - 9 pm: Night skiing on the Mighty Moose

7pm to 9pm: Free family activities

  • Arts & crafts: make your own noisemaker and party hat; plus board games and photo booth for the whole family to enjoy.
  • At Slopeside Cafe.
  • Free of charge.
  • Please note this is not a supervised event; staff will be around to facilitate the activities.

9pm: NYE Family Fireworks

  • Best viewing from the base of the Mighty Moose Run.
