Due to logging activity in the area, the Dirt Diggler is cancelled for 2024. See you next year!
Big mountain riding in Fernie, BC doesn't get much bigger than this annual freeride race on Dirt Diggler.
The proline level trail begins high in the alpine of the Canadian Rockies where the race drop on Morrissey Ridge is accessed by 4x4 shuttle. Dirt Diggler descends 3,500ft over 6.5km of steeps, loose coal dust chutes, and great air time down to the valley bottom.
On a casual day with friends, the ride down is enjoyed for over an hour but in race mode, the fastest riders are finished around the 10-minute mark.
No Same-Day Registrations. RACERS MUST PRE-RIDE THE TRAIL TO COMPETE.
All ages welcome. All racers must be advanced downhill riders and have pre-ridden the trail to compete. You must be a member of the Fernie Trails Alliance to race for insurance purposes.
