FBC drops four beers this month!
Come on down to the brewery and sample them all or pick up a pack to take home. Each beer is part of a different series and boasts a range of unique flavours, ingredients, and stories, to cater to a variety of different tastes.
All brews drop on their respective launch days at noon, until 8pm – before heading out on tap and in select liquor stores across BC and Alberta. Discovery Series available locally only. Learn more about these and other Fernie Brewing Co. brews on the FBC website.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 10TH: Oak Aged Vienna Lager and Vantage Cold IPA
The Vienna Lager is the latest addition to FBC’s Barrel Series and features a malty aroma and smooth, clean finish. The toasted malt character is complimented by a slight oak flavour, this new release is brewed with three malts including Weyermann Pils, Vienna, and Acidulated, along with a dash of Tettnang hops, resulting in a malty, crisp and light Lager. 5.1% ABV. Available in 473mL tall cans.
Vantage is the newest brew in FBC’s popular IPA Series. Chock-full of hops including Huell Melon, Calista and Comet, along with four specialty malts, Vantage is also FBC’s first Cold IPA – think crisp, drinkable, and hop-forward. 6.5% Available in 473mL tall cans.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 17TH: Brew No.2
Brew No.2 is the second beer in FBC’s new local-only Discovery Series. A refreshing brew packed with seven specialty malts including Weyermann Pilsner and Blackprinz, bringing deliciously subtle chocolate flavours to this dark, malty Lager. An addition of Perle and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops adds light floral hop character. 5% ABV. Available in limited quantities both on tap and in 473mL 4-packs in FBC’s Tasting Room, and in local Fernie Liquor Stores.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 24TH: Contour Cherry Ale
Bursting with sour cherry flavour, this refreshing Cherry Ale is the perfect pit stop for any adventure. Hops and malts play a small role in this beer, with refreshing cherry flavours taking center stage. A dash of Belgian yeast brings subtle banana flavours, balancing the sourness of this punchy brew. A new addition to the Summer series, the Contour Cherry Ale will be widely available on tap and in 473mL 4-packs throughout BC and Alberta all summer long.
