March 7th: BEER LAUNCH #1
- 3300 Golden Ale
Malt: 2 Row Pale, Crystal 70-80, Wheat, Carapils
Hops: Citra, El Dorado, Dry-hopped with Citra & El Dorado
84.7% alc,/vol. 25 IBU
- BREWER'S NOTES: With additions of Crystal malt and dry-hopped with Citra and El Dorado, this beer is clean and easy-drinking - with a tropical hop finish. Low on hops, yet high on flavour, this approachable beer is a perfect patio brew.
March 21st: BEER LAUNCH #2
- High Side Saison
Malt: 2 Row Pale, Caramel Vienna, Carastan 30-37, Rye, Melanoidin
With: Seville Orange Peel, Crushed Black Peppercorn, Lemon Juice
6% alc,/vol. 35 IBU
BREWER'S NOTES: A very aromatic flavourful, golden brew, with spicy, peppery and fruity notes. This is our take on the classic, refreshing and unassuming, yet delicious Belgian beer. Surprisingly light, but packs a punch of flavour to enjoy. Variety of malts, including Munich, Cara Vienna, Rye and Pilsner malts. Peppercorns, lemon juice and orange peel are also added.
March 28th: BEER LAUNCH #3
- Nighthawk Farmhouse IPA
Malt: Superior Pilsner, Munich, Vienna, Rye, Melanoid
Hops:Vic Secret, Hallertau Blanc, Sorachi Ace. Dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Hallertau Blanc, Sorachi Ace
6.4% alc,/vol. 50 IBU
BREWER'S NOTES: A hopped-up version of the Saison, this Farmhouse IPA goes back to FBC's roots. Spicy, fruity & dry-hopped with Sorachi Ace & Hallertau Blanc.
The Farmhouse IPA has the same yeast strain as the Saison, slightly higher in alcohol and lighter in content. Low in bitterness, but heavily dry-hopped with Centennial, Sorachi Ace and Hallertau Blanc. Sorachi Ace has a distinct lemon flavour, and Hallertau Blanc has strong notes of citrus and passion fruit, similar to an Australian variety. The hops mixed with the Saison yeast strain create an interesting blend of flavours.
