Whether a local or visiting trail runner, Stag Leap Run Club can help you find your feet, a trail buddy or your new favourite trail. With hundreds of kilometres of trails to explore, options for a great day running in Fernie is endless.
What does this mean? It means that Stag Leap Thursday Run Club is part of a bigger, better, inclusive, all-welcome run movement from July through September. As always, all levels of runner welcome. And even better, there will be a chance to win some sweet TNF prizing each week. We look forward to seeing you Thursdays at 6pm! #TNFsocialrunmovement
When? Year Round on thursdays at 6pm. (with occasional exceptions)

Who can join? Everyone. And, thanks to the Leisure Athletes Fernie, there is a pace for everyone.
What does it cost? Nothing. However you MUST join the Stag Leap Club (for FREE), and sign your Stag Leap Waiver BEFORE attending.
The Stag Leap Running Club caters to all levels of runners, with a couple of leaders to assist with a variety of speeds and needs. Even if you can’t join the weekly run, the group is also great place to post your plans, find a trail buddy, or start an adventure of your own. Fernie is home to many avid runners (including some serious medal winners) and welcomes out of town runners who would like to join someone for a run. Sign up and post your thoughts!
