Whether a local or visiting trail runner, Stag Leap Run Club can help you find your feet, a trail buddy or your new favourite trail. With hundreds of kilometres of trails to explore, options for a great day running in Fernie is endless.
The Stag Leap Run Club Facebook Group is a great way to discover the trails. The Club caters to intermediate to advanced runners, with a couple of leaders to assist with a variety of speeds and needs. There’s no charge to attend, but you do need to have a Fernie Trails Pass please! Even if you can’t join the weekly run, the group is also great place to post your plans, find a trail buddy, or start an adventure of your own. Fernie is home to many avid runners (including some serious medal winners) and welcomes out of town runners who would like to join someone for a run. Join the page, buy a pass, post your thoughts!
