Fun, friendly gravity-fed DH MTB racing every week at Fernie Alpine Resort!

A different trail each week, great prizes from SCOTT and Fox to be won, plus post race refreshments at Legends Mountain Eatery. 

REGISTRATION: Registrations must be completed ONLINE before 5:45 pm on race day. Spots are limited - don't wait to register! Registrations will be taken weekly, opening at 10am on the friday prior to the race. Note: no race on July 14th.

ENTRY FEE: $5, Lift ticket or season pass required (not included in entry fee)

CATEGORIES:

Adult Male & Female (18-39)
Masters Male & Female (40+)
*Category determined by age at first race*
NB: Kids and Youth races (age 8-17) will be held on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm. 

ROUTE: Posted on the Fernie Alpine Resort event listing and  facebook page on the day of each event.

RACE START: 6:30pm with staggered start times.

FORMAT:

  • Racers will get one lap down the designated course and are timed via the manual Webscorer App. 
  • The course will be open to the public all day, and racers are encouraged to take a practice run as no formal training run will occur. 
  • Following the race, competitors can head over to Legend’s and trade in their race plate for a cold beverage to enjoy as times are tabulated. 
  • The prize ceremony will follow in the plaza approx. 20-30 min after the last racer has crossed the finish line. 
  • Weekly prizes are given out via draw prizes, plus competitors accumulate points at each race, and series champions in each category are crowned at the final race on September 1st (please note racers must compete in a minimum of 3 races over the season to qualify for the overall standings).

WAIVERS: Must be complete online prior to the event.

Race #10 - September 1 (FINAL)
