August 22: Cool Critters in our Clean Water

  • Wear your rubber boots and rub rocks and collect critters in nets! use keys and magnifying boxes to classify insects and learn cool facts about these indicators of high water quality.. Led by Lee-Anne Walker. 

Time: 5:30-8:30pm

About Lee-Anne Walker, Wild Nature Tours Guide:

Lee-Anne Walker came as an interpretive naturalist for the summer in 1983 and never left.  Teaching natural history for the local college mountain adventure program, she has worked as an eco-tour guide guiding hikes, snowshoe tours, canoe trips and step-on-bus tours.  Her enthusiasm and knowledge of Fernie's natural and human history will inspire a unique sense of place.
