Stories of survival and endurance - a unique chance to hear firsthand from survivor and advocate, Alex Buckman.
Alex Buckman was only a few years old when he was hidden from the Nazis while his parents were transported to Auschwitz. Now 79, Buckman is the president of the Child Survivor Group at the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre and serves as Treasure of the World Federation of Jewish Child Holocaust Survivors.
Buckman will be in Fernie to share his life story and answer questions.
