Every night a whole world of wonder passes right over our heads. Tour, learn, and get inspired about the night sky above us for an evening.
East Kootenay Park Interpretation & Rocky Mountain Naturalist is bringing 'Astronomy on the Go' with the HR MacMillan Space Centre to the Fernie Arts Station on October 30th 2016. The program provided by the Planetarium from Vancouver will include an evening program and question and answer period, and if weather permits sky-viewing through a large portable telescope provided by the Planetarium educator. Please remember to dress appropriately for the outdoors.
There'll space for 100 people. It is free to attend, but donations are gratefully accepted.
About East Kootenay Park Interpretation
Run solely on funding provided by the Columbia Basin Trust through their Environment Program. This is our second year of operations. We have doubled the number of programs this past year, and plans are to continue expanding to provide interpretive programming to a wide range of participants and Basin citizens.
