Snowshoe up Swine Flu or Castle Mountain for stunning scenic views. The Castle Mountain is also a great spot for romantic sunsets. Active lovers will find romance in one of Fernie's four beautiful cross-country ski areas - Elk Valley Nordic Centre, Fernie Alpine Resort, Fernie Golf Club, and Montane  . Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding mountains and snowy forests while exploring the diverse trails with your sweetheart. Don't have a pair of skis? You can easily rent them in town or at the ski resort.
