An informal evening cross-country ski on the beautiful moonlit trails at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre.

Enjoy the full moon with other skiers from the Elk Valley Nordic Centre next to Lizard Creek. There may even be a fire going in the warming hut to enjoy after your ski.

  • Headlamps are recommended. These trails are best for intermediate-level skiers and above. 
  • Free for Nordic Society members. A day ticket is required for non-members. 

Where can I rent cross-country skis?

If you don't have any skis, they can be rented from Fernie Alpine Resort, as well as Gearhub Sports Adventure Rentals.
